Damon Dash film headlining Orlando Urban Film Festival this weekend

The Orlando Urban Film Festival will return to Orlando this Labor Day weekend.

The ninth installment of the event will take place from Thursday, September 1 to Monday, September 5 at the CMX Cinema Plaza in downtown Orlando.

Festivities kick off on Thursday night with an opening night celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony that will feature Mayor Buddy Dyer.

The feature film for the weekend is The Prince of Detroit, directed by Damon Dash. The film features Columbus Short, Faizon Love, and Torei Hart, among other actors.
