Seminole County Republican office vandalized

The headquarters for the Seminole County Republican Party was vandalized last weekend.

According to representatives, the headquarters, which is located at 460 State Road 436, Suite 101 in Casselberry, was vandalized on August 27 or August 28.

On Monday, August 29, the group responded with a statement across social media, labeling the incident a “hate crime.”

“Our office was vandalized this weekend, our answer to hate, clean up and move on,” reads a post. “It is a hate crime, this is the result of hate speech by Biden and the independent/democrat guy running for Governor.”

The incident happened days after President Joe Biden labeled Republicans who supported former president Donald Trump as having a philosophy of “semi-fascism.”

At its core, fascism is a centralized form of autocratic government wherein a dictator implements severe regimentation through the economic and social control. Additionally, the movement encourages suppression of anti-fascist opposition, and, instead, favors the promotion of a specific nation or race over an individual.
