Armed suspect wanted in robbery of Circle K

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help to locate a suspect who committed an armed robbery at a DeBary gas station.

According to VCSO, the incident took place just after 4 a.m. on Saturday, September 10 at the Circle K located at 312 Dirksen Drive in DeBary.

Police say that a medium-built, male suspect, whose face and head were covered, entered the store and showed the clerk a handgun before demanding money.

The victim emptied the register and handed the money to the suspect. The suspect then struck the clerk with the gun before fleeing the store on foot. The amount of money that was taken has not been determined, according to police.
