A 21-year-old man from West Melbourne was killed after he flipped his vehicle on State Road 528 on Sunday night.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place near mile marker 19 on SR 528 at around 8:31 p.m. on Sunday, September 18.
The man was driving a 2006 Toyota Scion eastbound on the highway, in the inside lane. For unknown reasons, the man drove his vehicle off the left side of the roadway before overcorrecting to the right.
The vehicle began to overturn and collided with a ditch on the outside grass shoulder.
The man was transported to AdventHealth East Orlando hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
