Angel R. Palombo

Angel R. Palombo, 73, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, at his home in Sanford, Florida.

Angel is survived by his wife of 12 years, Nelly (Perez) Palombo, sons Angel Luis Palombo, David Torres, daughter Mellony Torres; grandchildren Aydin Palombo, Jayden Singh, Zaria Morales, and Adrian Torres.

Born on December 20, 1948, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Angel immigrated to the United States in 1968 to pursue the American dream with his father Angel Palombo. His mother Elena Palombo followed them after. He worked various jobs until he landed at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he worked as an office administrator for 30 years.

In 2010 he retired with his wife. He and Nelly enjoyed 12 wonderful years enjoying their families and spending time with loved ones. He is remembered by his family and friends for his warm spirit, generous heart, and his need to make sure everyone around him was always well taken care of. Angel befriended everyone he met, and people truly loved talking with him and hearing his stories.

Angel ADORED his family immensely, especially his children and grandchildren. He also LOVED his fútbol! He never missed a soccer match with his beloved Argentinian player Messi and always made it a point to call his son, Luis, to talk about the game whenever possible.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 12:00PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, South Seminole Chapel located at 335 E. State Rd. 434, Longwood, FL 32750.
