Hazel Marie Howell Bass

Hazel Marie Howell Bass, 91 of Ocoee, Florida went on to be with the Lord on October 23, 2022. She was born March 19, 1931 in Cascilla, Mississippi.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by Jesse and Eva Franklin (Parents), Curtis Dewitt Howell (Husband), Sandra Carter (Daughter) and Danny Howell (Son).

She was survived by her children Curtis (Marie) Howell, Ricky (Linda) Howell, Mark (Kathy) Howell and Jerie Carter (Son-in-law). Grandchildren Carla Dunn, Cindy (John) Shank, Amanda (Drew) Peyton, Rebecca (Lloyd) Howell, Melissa (Timmy) Tilman, Curtis (Courtney) Howell, Kimberly (Danny) Motes, Kelley Hudson, Scott (Erin) Howell, Angie (Phil) Massey, Billy (Kayla) Carter, Lisa (Danny) Cyr and John (Jaime) Mercer. Forty-three great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

She found great love and joy being a member of the West Orange Park Community Church, where she was the last surviving original member of the church as well as the treasurer and pianist. She loved to spend time with her family, singing gospel and playing musical instruments.
