Chappelle Show, SNL alum, others performing comedy in Orlando this month

Another slate of comedians with credits on the Chappelle Show and Saturday Night Live will make their way to Orlando to perform comedy this month.

This weekend, on November 5 and November 6, Tom Papa will perform at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Papa has been performing standup for over 20 years and recently released his second book, You’re Doing Great!: And Other Reasons to Stay Alive. From November 4 to November 6, comedian Gary Owen will perform at the Orlando Improv, which is located at 9101 International Drive, Suite 2310, in Pointe Orlando. Owen has been featured in multiple movies, including Think Like a Man, Ride Along, and Daddy Day Care, among many others. Owen also hosted his own series on BET, The Gary Owen Show, in the past. The following weekend, November 11 and 12, Donnell Rawlings will perform multiple shows at the Orlando Improv. Rawlings is best known for his time touring with Dave Chappelle and a bevy of regular characters that he performed in the Chappelle Show. Later on in the month, two comedians will perform at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on the same night. Daniel Tosh will make a stop along his Florida Trash Tour at the center’s newly opened Steinmetz Hall on November 17. Tosh, who graduated from the University of Central Florida, will perform two shows at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

That night, comedian Todd Barry will perform a makeup show that was rescheduled from September 29 due to Hurricane Ian.

Saturday Night Live alum Jay Pharoah will perform at the Orlando Improv on Friday, November 18, and Saturday, November 19.
