Lou Alyce Dean

Lou Alyce Dean was born on August 2, 1943 in Thomasville, GA to the late Joe & Betty Hart Williams Sr. Lou Alyce graduated from Douglas High School in Thomasville, GA with the Class of 1961. MVP basketball player. Later she matriculated to Durham College in Durham, NC.

Lou Alyce was a devoted member to St. John Baptist Church where Rolous A. Frazier was her pastor.

She was employed with CNA Insurance Company. She retired after 25 years as a Worker’s Compensation Claims Adjuster. She was a Life Member and past officer of AMVETS Post #30. Member of Royal Palm Temple #890. Past State President’s Council of the Florida State Association. Grand Senior Mother of the Grand Temple Junior and Juveniles.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 39 years-George N. Dean Sr. Her parents the late Joe & Betty Hart Williams Sr. Her brother Joe Williams Jr.

She leaves cherished memories to her only child Alycia C. Dean Cooper and granddaughter Kennedi A. Cooper of Nashville, TN. Nephew/son Andi (Gwen) Green of Sanford, FL. Her god-son Omar C. Williams of Winter Haven, FL. A host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
