Robert Viersen

Robert Viersen, age 58 of Ocoee FL crossed the finish line into Heaven October 30,2022. His peaceful finish took place at home with family by his side. Born on January 19,1964 in North Platt, Lincoln County, Nebraska. He is the son of the late Leo “Budge” Kendall Viersen and Margie Ann Fruit-Viersen. Bob attended Maywood High School; Class of 1982. He resided in McCook Nebraska until moving to Apopka Florida in 1993.

Bob is survived by his life partner of twenty two years Lori Ann Johnson of Ocoee. Children Nathan Corder of Brunswick, Maryland. Andrew Viersen (Sofia), Patricia Ann Cooke (Jerry), Crystal Wood (Eric), Ginger Wood (Kwah), Kayla Wood (E), Danielle Crossley if Tell City, Indiana and David Johnson Jr (Kenna). 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

His family will remember him as a man’s man. He was the type of person who would choose to repair something over buying a new one. He valued hard work, honesty and the value of a man’s word. Big Jeff Gordon fan, one could find Bob watching the race and always having something to say during the race if he wasn’t caught resting his eyes a minute or two. What Bob enjoyed even more was a game of pool. Member of the APA of Orlando for over twenty years his home away from home every Thursday night was pool league. Highly skilled in both 8-ball and 9-ball Bob played with some of best and against some of the best.
