The Sanford Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a vehicle of interest in connection with a fatal hit-and-run.
Authorities have released the following video showing a vehicle of interest that they believe may possibly have information related to the incident.
According to SPD traffic homicide investigators, the fatal incident took place just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, near the intersection of 25th Street and Georgia Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male lying in the roadway. The man was suffering from serious injuries that he sustained after he was struck by a vehicle. The man, who has not been identified by police, was transported to a local area hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
