SeaWorld unveils seats for new surf coaster Pipeline

SeaWorld has unveiled the seats that will make up a new surf coaster opening at the park next year.

During this year’s International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions expo, SeaWorld officials unveiled the seats for Pipeline, which will open at SeaWorld Orlando next Spring.

The roller coaster will mark the park’s seventh addition to its “Coaster Capital of Orlando” moniker.

The unique seat design for Pipeline will keep riders in a standing position, with platforms that will simulate riding waves.

Pipeline will feature 2,950 feet of track, with a top height of 110 feet and a top speed of 60 mph.

Only riders who are 54″ and taller will be able to ride the new coaster.

SeaWorld officials say that the roller coaster is the first of its kind in the world.

Earlier this year, the park celebrated the addition of Ice Breaker, the first launch roller coaster at SeaWorld. That roller coaster reaches a maximum height of 93 feet, maximum speeds of 52 mph, and has 1,900 feet of track.
