Brian Barrett Rogers

Brian Barrett Rogers, 51, of Longwood, FL, passed away 11/17/22. He was born in Coral Gables, Florida and moved to Central Florida in 1986.
He graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School and the University of Central Florida, where he received a his Bachelor of Science in Business Management (MIS) and his MBA, Information Systems.

He had a career in Internet Technology/Internet Security and worked with Lockheed Martin, Aquatic Eco Systems and he was currently employed as the IT Director for Data Graphics.

He was a member of One Church and had a passion for reading a vast array of books, attending concerts, playing the guitar, drinking coffee (Java King), studying the bible and watching sci-fi like Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jamie Smithhart Rogers, a son, Christian Barrett Rogers, his mother, Evelyn Parker Rogers, a half-sister, Kimberly Miles (Mark) of Pendleton, SC, three aunts, Kay Rogers, of Milton, GA, Eleta Reese of Eau Claire, WI, Davian Barrett Kappler (Don) of Independence, MO, and two uncles, Rodger Parker of Huntersville, NC, and Robert Parker of Hickory, NC. and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father, Samuel Kirby Rogers, and his biological father, David Donald Barrett.

A funeral service will be held at Baldwin Fairchild, located at 994 East Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs, Florida on December 9th at 11:00 a.m.

The family will receive guests at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Sea Pines Memorial Gardens in Edgewater, FL at 11:00 a.m. on December 10th.
