A 69-year-old man was killed while he was riding his bicycle on an Orlando road on Sunday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place on Sunday, November 27, at around 11:39 a.m. near the intersection of Powers Drive and Livingston Street.
A 16-year-old boy was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla southbound on Powers Drive, approaching the intersection with W Livingston Street.
The bicyclist was traveling in a northerly direction in the southbound lane on Powers Drive, approaching Livingston Street, when it was struck by the vehicle.
The bicyclist was transported to the Orlando Health Central Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The bicyclist was not injured and remained on scene.
