Graffiti Junktion closes Clermont location after failed health inspection

A burger business with restaurants across Central Florida was forced to temporarily close its Clermont location after failing a health inspection.

The Graffiti Junktion located at 2400 S Hwy 27 in Clermont was forced to temporarily close its doors on Monday, November 21, after a food health inspector cited 14 code violations.

According to a report filed with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, during the inspection, at least five high priority violations were cited.

Among the violations was sewage/wastewater back-up that was coming up through the floor drains. The report indicates that a drain under the compartment sink and dish machine was blocked with at least four inches of standing waste. When the dish machine was in operation, water was breaching the floor and running under equipment on the cooks line, according to the report.

Additionally, during the inspection, an employee stroked hair and then engaged in food preparation without first washing his/her hands.

The restaurant was reinspected on Tuesday, November 22, and was permitted to reopen after only seven violations were cited.
