A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed after he was ejected from his vehicle on Hiawassee Road early this morning.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Hiawassee Road and Sandy Lane Drive in Orlando.
An Orlando man was traveling southbound on Hiawassee Road when, for unknown reasons, his motorcycle struck a guardrail and he was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at AdventHealth Apopka, according to FHP.
The crash remains under investigation.
