A fast food restaurant near Millenia Mall was forced to temporarily close its doors after a health inspector cited multiple health code violations, including the presence of rodents.
The Burger King located at 5324 S John Young Parkway was forced to temporarily close its doors on Thursday, December 1, after an inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation cited at least 15 health code violations.
Among the violations were three considered high priority, including the presence of rodents. The report indicates that 11 rodent droppings were found in various places around the restaurant. Additionally, raw chicken was stored over cooked nuggets in a freezer across from the fryer.
The restaurant was permitted to reopen on Monday, December 5, after a follow-up inspection yielded 14 violations.
