Winter Park man charged with tying 9-year-old neighbor to bed, forcing him to watch porn

A 68-year-old man was arrested this week after police were contacted by a 9-year-old neighbor who says the man tied him to a bed and forced him to watch pornography on multiple occasions.

Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Mark Vincent Macagnone on Tuesday, December 20, on charges of kidnapping/false imprisonment of a child and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

According to a police report filed by SCSO, police were contacted on December 2 by a 9-year-old boy who cited approximately five instances in which his neighbor, Macagnone, tied him to his bed frame using a rope.

The victim stated that on at least two occasions, Macagnone put a ball gag in the victim’s mouth and a mask around his head.

During these incidents, the victim says Macagnone would force the child to watch “kiddie porn and adult porn.”

On December 20, a residential search warrant was executed at Macagnone’s residence at 5433 Ferrol Drive in Winter Park. During their search, detectives found multiple ball gags, rope, a blindfold, and multiple masks.

Macagnone admitted to tying the victim up with a rope on two occasions, but denied the use of ball gags.

Macagnone made his first appearance in Seminole County court on Wednesday, according to court records.
