Two Orlando teenagers are facing multiple felony charges for allegedly robbing individuals of their firearms as they were exiting gun ranges.

In April, the Orlando Police Department asked the public for help to identify two individuals wanted for robbing firearms from patrons of a local gun range.

According to police, on April 13, 2023, just before 11 a.m., two suspects robbed a patron of Shooter’s World (4850 Lawing Lane) at gunpoint in an attempt to steal the individual’s firearms.

At around 6:10 p.m., officers received a second call regarding a similar incident. During that attempt, the suspects were unsuccessful in stealing the patron’s firearms.

The victims in both cases gave similar descriptions to OPD Violent Crimes Detectives. During their investigation, authorities partnered with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Crime Analysis team, as well as multiple School Resource Officers, to identify the individuals they believe perpetrated the crimes.

On May 3, 18-year-old Christopher Farr was arrested and taken into custody. When interviewed by detectives, Farr confessed to the robberies.

Just over a week later, on May 11, 17-year-old Jude Lamonthe was also arrested in connection with the robberies. Farr, who turns 18 years old on Sunday, May 21, was also connected to a separate vehicle burglary that took place on April 11.
