Local fire crews were able to extinguish a vehicle fire that broke out near an exit ramp on Interstate 4 this past weekend.
Orlando Fire Department units responded to the Princeton Street exit ramp on I-4 on Saturday, April 1, after receiving reports of a vehicle fire.
Upon arrival, crews encountered a car that was engulfed in flames.
Multiple units extinguished the fire, while one of the OFD units blocked the exit ramp from other vehicles.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The fire is one of many that have broken out among homes and wooded areas in Central Florida over the past few weeks, as drought conditions worsen.
Over the weekend, multiple brush fires broke out in the tri-county area, including one that consumed 2.5 acres of woods in Longwood.
