Charles Ray Perry

Charles Ray Perry, 88, of Lake Mary, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023. He was born on June 24, 1935, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Chuck (Charlie) as you may know him, was a strong and generous man. He had a reputation for being a fighter and always relished a good challenge. Chuck was outstanding in his field of construction. His dedication and hard work made him one of the best in the business.

Outside of work, Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved a good party and cherished the moments he shared with his loved ones. Chuck was an avid golfer and excelled in the sport. He spent a significant portion of his life on the golf course, playing with his friends and in tournaments. His talent on the golf course even led him to participate in the Senior PGA tour for three years.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Allison. They met in 1997 and spontaneously married in 2003 in the backyard of good friends Chip & Jennifer Hitt. They were very much in love and took good care of each other.

He also leaves behind three daughters, Nancy (Dan), Candi (John), and Penny (Clarence), as well as nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Chuck adored Allison’s family, and they reciprocated his love and became an extended family to him in his later years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Audie, his sister Arlene, and his brother Cecil.
