Two men have been arrested and charged with the murder of a 36-year-old man who was found dead at condos near Millenia Mall earlier this month.
Jacquarius Amir Legrand, 22, and Jaivien Tahjaii Elliott, 19, were arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Carlos Moreno-Anariva.
Moreno-Anariva was found by deputies who responded to the 1900 block of Lake Atriums Circle on the night of Saturday, January 7.
In the days since the fatal shooting, the family of Moreno-Anariva has established a GoFundMe to help repatriate his body to Honduras.
“We are heartbroken by this great loss and we wish by this means to be able to say his last goodbye in the USA and together with friends and family and then to be able to send his body to his native country, Honduras with his Mother to be able to receive a Christian burial together with the rest of the Family,” reads the GoFundMe.
