Theft of catalytic converter in Clermont

Clermont police are asking the public for help in locating those responsible for the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle in Clermont.

According to a press release from the Clermont Police Department, the vehicle featured in this story is a vehicle of interest in the theft of a catalytic converter that occurred on Monday, January 16.

The catalytic converter was stolen from a Maxam Tech Solutions work van, according to polcie.

The vehicle appears to be an older model Dodge Charger with dark, tinted windows, a spoiler on the trunk, and a possible temporary tag.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the owner of this vehicle is asked to contact Clermont Police Department Detective Dubi at 352-394-5588, option 3, or the Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
