Leu Gardens hosting annual plant sale

Leu Gardens will host its annual plant sale this weekend.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 11, and Sunday, March 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the park, which is located at 1920 North Forest Avenue.

The event is free and open to the public, with donations being accepted to help offset the cost of the event. No pets are allowed and the event will go on regardless of inclement weather.

Over 50 vendors will be on site to sell annuals, bamboo, bromeliads, butterfly plants, camellias, ferns, fruit trees, gingers, heliconias, native plants, orchids, palms, plumerias, roses, vines, and other plants. Additionally, garden accessories will be sold during the event, and food and drink vendors will be on site.

Most vendors accept credit cards and two ATMs will be available in the gardens for cash withdrawals.
