Orlando man sentenced to 40 years for ‘sextortion’ of multiple girls

A 22-year-old man will spend the next 40 years of his life behind bars for coercing minor females to send him sexual images and videos and threatening to release them to their family or social media when they didn’t send him more.

Preston Percyville Cresser was sentenced to spend 40 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron for production and possession of child sexual abuse materials. Cresser pled guilty in December 2022.

According to court records, Cresser engaged in a “sextortion” scheme wherein he would speak with minor females on various social media platforms. During his conversations, Cresser would coerce the teens to create and send him sexual images and videos.

After he obtained said photos and videos, Cresser would demand additional images and videos. When the victims did not comply, he would threaten to send the previous images to the victim’s family or post them to social media.

On multiple occasions, Cresser would demand that the girls video call him and he would record them performing requested sexual acts.

Cresser’s sentence will be followed by a lifetime of supervised release. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, with assistance from the Apopka Police Department and the Orlando Police Department.
