Frozen, Finding Nemo, Little Mermaid musicals coming to downtown Orlando

A slate of classic animated characters will take the stage at venues in downtown Orlando this month.

Disney On Ice presents Encanto and Frozen will take up residence at the Amway Center from Friday, May 12 through Monday, May 15. Performances are scheduled for various times over the four-day span, with early shows scheduled for Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14. Tickets range in price and may be purchased through the Disney on Ice presents Frozen & Encanto event page.

Finding Nemo, Jr. will take residence at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, May 13, and Sunday, May 14. Three different performances are scheduled across the two days, with shows at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, and one at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. The musical is an adaptation of the 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo. Tickets start at $30. For more information, visit the Finding Nemo Jr. event page.

The following week, on May 18, Disney’s The Little Mermaid will take the stage at Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center. Presented by Park Maitland School and the Park Maitland Foundation, the show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased at The Little Mermaid event page.

In addition to Disney favorites, Shrek the Musical Jr. will also take up residence in Orlando next week. The show will take place on Wednesday, May 10 and Thursday, May 11 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
