John Patrick Bertram

John Patrick Bertram passed away May 4th, 2023 at 16:20 in his hometown of Sanford Florida at age 59.

He worked many years as a cook before delving into the Masonry Trade where he cultivated his skills in Ceramic tiles, Marble, and Granite. His heart for the community grew as he worked with friends moving and selling furniture at local markets where you were sure to find smiles, jokes, stories, and laughter. Many knew him as Big John or John B for his work in dewatering/well pointing.

He dove head first in the role of father hood to his son Grady Davis on April 1988 who helped put many Gray’s in to his hair. But each one came, with love & wisdom

Leaving behind his beloved wife Sara Bertram 60 whom he married in the Spring of 92 lasting 31years of marriage.

His love grew as did the family. He became a father to a little girl, daughter Patricia Bertram, 30 named after his mother Patricia Bertram Grady Davis, 38 Elisa Davis, 32 his siblings Janet Bishop and Peter Bertram. Grandchildren Lilly and Finnley and his fur babies Apolla and Princess Bertram. Family was most important to John;

He was a simple man who enjoyed eating, laughter, community, and family. The many lessons, wisdom, and memories will forever be in the hearts of those that knew him. We would be honored for you to join us in the Celebration of Life for John Bertram at Gemini Springs Park, Debary FL, Pavilion 5. On July 8th 9am- 12pm. Please bring a covered dish to share.
