Animal rights group protesting Garden Bros Nuclear Circus at Florida Mall

A group of animal rights activists are gathering to protest the Garden Bros Nuclear Circus, a traveling troupe at the Florida Mall.

According to Animal Rights Florida, the group is planning to protest outside of the circus to “educate circus goers and speak for abused circus animals.” Those protests are arranged at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, as well as 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The Garden Bros Nuclear Circus features over 60 performers who perform stunts and in three rings. The show includes a human cannonball act, a wheel of death performance, motorcycles in the sphere of fear, a human slingshot, Chinese acrobats, clowns, and comedic acts, among others.

The cost to attend the Garden Bros Nuclear Circus, which runs through Sunday, January 30, is $14.50 for one adult and one child. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit the Garden Bros Circus website.
