Dean Edward Hobbie

Dean Edward Hobbie, 52, of Winter Park, FL, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2022. He was born in Bennington, VT on February 15, 1970, to the late Edward and Mary Hobbie.

For the last several years, Dean worked IT for Pomeroy. Dean was very intelligent, larger than life and had an infectious laugh. He met every person with kindness and acceptance. Dean loved and respected his parents. Dean loved with all of his heart. He also had a wicked sense of humor.

Dean is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jennifer Hobbie; bonus daughter, Caitlin Miller (RJ Sanchez); sisters, Lynanne Paul and Margaret Cox (Chuck Cox); niece, Shelby Paul; and nephews, Zachary and Joshua Cox.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Winter Park Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11 AM, service will be held at 12 PM and a reception will follow the service.
