John & John’s Pizza Shop is nearing the grand opening of its new location near downtown Orlando.
Located at 435 E Michigan Street in the South Downtown Orlando (SoDo) district, the new restaurant is currently hosting a soft opening in anticipation of a grand opening, which has not yet been announced.
As its name suggests, John & John’s features a wide variety of pizzas, toppings, and specialty pies. That includes the Mediterranean Blue, which pays homage to the previous Greek restaurant that occupied the space for 12 years.
Pizzas at the shop come in 14-inch or 16-inch varieties, with the 14-inch cheese pizza starting at $13.99.
John & John’s opens just a couple doors down from SoDough Square, a Detroit-style pizza restaurant that opened its doors in May. It also joins CAVA, which opened its doors recently in the former Zöe’s Kitchen located right down the road at 236 E Michigan Street.
