Prescription drug take-back day on Saturday across local cities, counties

Multiple police departments across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia counties will participate in this year’s national prescription drug take-back day on Saturday.

On Saturday, October 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., police departments across the area will accept prescription drugs from those looking to dispose the materials safely. Departments participating include, but are not limited to:

Orlando Police Department – 3502 Edgewater Drive (CVS Pharmacy #2829); 4315 Curry Ford Road (CVS Pharmacy #3492); 6700 Lake Nona Boulevard (UCF Lake Nona Medical Center)

Orange County Sheriff’s Office – 2500 W. Colonial Drive (OCSO Operations Center); 1111 N. Rock Springs Road, Apopka; 11000 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando; 475 W Story Road, Ocoee; 2400 W. 33rd Street, Orlando

Maitland Police Department – 110 N. Maitland Avenue (Downtown Police Station); 1837 Fennell Street (MPD Headquarters)

Sanford Police and Fire Safety Complex – 815 Historic Goldsboro Boulevard

Longwood Police Department – 235 W Church Avenue, Longwood

Altamonte Springs Police Department – 451 E Altamonte Dr, Suite 2165 (Altamonte Mall)

Winter Springs Police Department – 300 N Moss Road
