Joan W Hyslop

Joan Wade Hyslop was born in Shoals, IN on February 19, 1931. She was a member of the Fortune Road Church of Christ in Kissimmee, FL. Joan was at home with her daughters and granddaughter, Celia, on November 21, 2022, when she went into cardiac arrest.

Joan is survived by her two daughters Janine Armstrong and Margaret Gibson. She was known and loved by many as “Grammy” but none more dear than her grandchildren. She is survived by seven grandchildren; Ted, Amber, Celia, Kenneth, Tabbatha, Joshua, and Valerie. In addition, there are nine great grandchildren; Kadence, Weston, Amiyah, Elyjah, Jon, Izayah, Grace, Jaydah and Janea.
Joan is also survived by a younger sister Mary Mae Sherfick and a younger brother John William Wade, in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of seventy two years, Billy Franklin Hyslop on May 28, 2022, and her daughters, Viki Le and Jennifer and her son, Thomas, as well as four brothers and a sister.

Billy was her very VBFF (Very Best Friend Forever) and she wanted to be laid to rest next to him and to hear the Lord and Savior say “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
