Margaret DeCaprio, age 84, of Oviedo, Florida passed away Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, while holding hands with her family in prayer. Peggy was born on October 16th, 1937, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Samuel and Maria DeStefano. Peggy was married to John for 66 years, a long-time parishioner, Eucharistic minister, marriage encounter counselor, music minister, and sacristan at Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband John DeCaprio, Peggy is survived by Daughters Anna Marie Ludlow (Brian), Patricia Cochran (Paul), Sandra Lee Cato (Mitch); and Son John F DeCaprio (Kristi). Peggy is also survived by Brother’s Tom DeStefano (Diane), and Vincent DeStefano (Genevieve), and late Brother’s Joseph, Samuel, and Larry and late Sister Angeline; Grandchildren, Kirk Callahan, Christopher Cochran, Erica Daigle (Pierce), Alexandra Boucher (Matthew), Kristin Clark (Chris), Lauren Lee (Benito), Matthew Hill(MaryAnn), Casey Callahan (Amber), John DeCaprio, Samantha DeCaprio (fiancé’ Dakota Ewy); Step Grandchildren, Stephen and Christopher Cato. Great Grandchildren, Sean Callahan, Cora Callahan, Vance Daigle, and Kendall Clark. Peggy is also survived by her beloved Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, and many Dear Friends.
