Maria Rachel Chaghuza

Maria Rachel Chaghuza 68, passed into eternal rest on Sunday May 14, 2023, in Orlando Florida.

Maria was born in Mlalo district, Tanga State in Tanzania on October 16, 1954, to the late Gideon and Mvunilwa Chaghuza.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother William Chaghuza and nephew Emmanuel Senge’nge.

Maria was an alumnus of Gallaudet College of Washington DC where she majored in Business Administration. Also preceded by many aunts and uncles.

Maria loved cooking, needle work and tv shows that made her laugh. Most of all she loved food.

Left to cherish Maria’s memory is her brother Edward Chaghuza and wife Josephine. Sister Neema Senge’nge and husband Ray. Sister Joyce Kigembe, brother-in-law Yasin Kigembe.

Maria also leaves behind nieces Nelle, Norah, Lilian, Mari and nephews Wemma, Rajab, Samuel and Isiah as well as 12 gran nieces/nephews.

Many more extended family members and relatives and friends live to cherish the life of Maria.

A viewing will be held on May 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. At A Community Funeral Home & Sunset Cremations, 910 W. Michigan St. Orlando, FL 32805.
