Luis Alfredo Livia Moyer

Luis Alfredo Livia Moyer, age 67, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Vitas Hospice in Orlando.

He was born on April 26, 1956 in Lima, Peru, his parents are Alfredo Luis Livia Manrique and Elena Moyer Zevallos. Luis studied in Lima, he graduated from Hipolito Unanue High School, and later studied at Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. On May 26, 1994 his daughter Lorena was born.

On October 27, 2018, he married Mirtha Diaz in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Luis had a passion for cooking, and most recently was working for Orange County Public Schools in food services.

Luis is survived by his wife of nearly five years, Mirtha Diaz, and five daughters and their families: Lorena Livia, Corina Hardy and her husband, Kristopher, Yessica Martinez Seeman and her husband, Daniel, Mirtha Martinez, and Jazmin Martinez. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Macarena Collazos Livia, Hugo André Hardy, Jessica Ramirez, Erik Seeman, Mia Hardy, and Ryan Seeman; a sister, Ana Livia Moyer of Lima, Peru; and three brothers: Miguel Livia Moyer, Julio Livia Moyer, and Marco Livia Moyer, all of Lima, Peru.

Luis was beloved by all his family and friends. He loved his daughter Lorena and granddaughter Macarena. He married his best friend Mirtha and gained more daughters and grandkids who loved him very much. His passion for cooking was noticeable at the family gatherings, because of the good food and drinks that he prepared for the people that he loved so much.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL with Fr. Enrique Guerra officiating. You can attend to the funeral home from 3:00 pm.
