The Sleeping Beauty coming to Dr. Phillips Center

A live action performance of a fabled story made popular through literature and film is coming to downtown Orlando this weekend.

The Sleeping Beauty will take the stage at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in two shows on Sunday, June 4 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The shows will be performed in the Alexis and Jim Pugh Theater at the center, which is located at 445 S. Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando.

The Sleeping Beauty has become one of the top acts in the 2023 ballet and dance world, delighting fans with a one-of-a-kind show. Join the Orlando Metropolitan Ballet Academy to discover how Prince Desiree fights Carabosse’s illusions and enchantments and wakes Aurora for her deep sleep.
