64-year-old Orlando pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on Orange Blossom Trail

A 64-year-old Orlando man walking along Orange Blossom Trail was killed by a vehicle that authorities are trying to identify.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 4 near the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and La Quinta Drive.

The man was walking in a westerly direction across Orange Blossom Trail, but was not in a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.

The pedestrian was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and pronounced deceased.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact FHP at 407-737-2213.
