Michelin Bib Gourmand recognizes Orlando restaurants for ‘every price bracket’

In addition to being the new home to four Michelin-starred restaurants, Orlando now boasts several other restaurants recognized for quality food and affordable prices.

Last week, four Orlando-restaurants earned Michelin stars, while seven other restaurants were recognized with Bib Gourmand awards. The Bib Gourmand recognizes businesses for offering quality food for “good value” in line with the cost of living in the area.

The seven restaurants are scattered throughout the Orlando area and cover a wide variety of cuisines.

The Ravenous Pig is a modern gastropub that features American fare and beers brewed on-site. In addition to its regular dinner menu, on weekends, the restaurant features a brunch menu with a variety of classic cocktails and brunch favorites. Ravenous Pig is located in Winter Park at 565 W Fairbanks Avenue and is closed on Mondays.

Located in the Mills 50 District nearby, Strand is a neighborhood restaurant that offers a modern take on classic foods. Owned by Alda and Joe Rees, all of the dishes are prepared from scratch, with daily Chef’s specials inspired by fresh ingredients.

The Audubon District’s Domu operates one of its two Orlando-area locations out of the East End Market at 3201 Corrine Drive. Created in 2016 by chef and owner Sean Nguyen, the restaurant specializes in ramen with house-made noodles and offers a variety of small plates and seasonal cocktails.
