Luminary Green Park opens in downtown Orlando

Hundreds of residents and city officials celebrated the grand opening of Luminary Green Park in downtown Orlando on Tuesday.

The 2.3-acre park is located at 437 North Terry Avenue, in the city’s Creative Village. The park was opened to the public after months of construction at the downtown space.

Luminary lights will be added to the park in order to honor a dozen residents for their contributions to the community. Those lights will be interactive and will illuminate the park from day to night, according to city officials.
