Man wanted for stealing items, wallet at Publix

The Casselberry Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man who allegedly followed a woman around Publix before he stole her wallet from her purse.

On September 23, the individual featured in this story was seen on video surveillance entering the Publix located at 1455 SR 436 in Casselberry. Video While in the store, the man selected various items before leaving the store without paying.

A short time later, the man is seen reentering the store and closely following a customer down an aisle. After one failed attempt at snatching a wallet from the customer’s purse, the man is seen removing the wallet and placing it in a reusable shopping bag.

Dodge Dart wanted in connection with theft at Publix in Casselberry

The man is then seen leaving the store and fleeing in a white, Dodge Dart.
