Florida-focused apparel, merchandise shop opening in College Park

A locally owned company that creates Florida-focused apparel and merchandise is opening a new shop in College Park.

Freehand Goods is currently under build-out at 2445 Edgewater Drive, replacing the former tenant El Vic’s Kitchen, which closed its doors in September.

Founded in 2016 by owners Seth Daniels and Jacob Zepf, the business got its start as a pop-up shop and eventually began operating a space in the East End Market.

Freehand Goods specializes in producing leather goods, grooming products, locally-printed shirts, hats, and candles, among other products. All of the goods are handcrafted by the company locally and are inspired by Orlando and the Florida lifestyle.

The shop joins a collection of new businesses that are moving into College Park, after multiple closures of long-time tenants. Those closures include Jade Sushi & New Asian, which permanently closed this past weekend, and Thai Farm Kitchen, which closed up shop in September. In October, Pizza Bruno opened its second location in the area.
